Yummy fruity desserts....

So I was reading a blog and she gave a very simple dessert idea. I decided that I should be able to accomplish this simple recipe. Now of course I differed in very small ways like not doing the full amount but half was the perfect size! If you want to also try the recipe go to my reading list BabyMac did a great job.

ROP CNA class...

Well since the new year has started in school I also have a new schedule. One class got totally canceled and four others were switched. Now I see some of my other friends but im missing my old friends. Its only for 5 month so I think that I can survive long enough and I will just hang out after school.

That gets me to a new point I now am taking a CNA course which is quite interesting but lasts until 16:30. This gets a bit annoying because I miss lunch and then im starving for dinner. I get to wear scrubs soon and just waiting for them to come in. I also have a name tag because the teacher has a hard time with names.

I am excited because I get to wear my watch it has a second hand which is great for taking vitals. Like any other teenager I sometimes find myself zoning out and doodling as you can see. Well hope this class gets better I am sure it will when we get some on hands training.

Disneyland... Happiest Place on Earth!

Well we loaded up the car around 8 am to drive down to Anaheim for Disneyland! We would be going with Breanna, Lene, Julie, Val, and of course me. So two exchange students that had never been to Disneyland would get to see this magical place. But on a Saturday it's a mad house and there were too many people. Seemed like the rides kept breaking down and we had two parks to get through.

We enjoyed so many rides and they got to experience so many cool and new ideas. California Adventures it seems is more for older people and yet they loved them equally. We enjoyed delicious Clam Chowder in a bread bowl, and some crazy pineapple ice cream. If you don't know OneRepublic came to Disneyland to sing for New Years Eve but the park was shut down by 11 am then.

The rides like Soarin' Over California, Tower of Terror, Matterhorn and Thunder Mountain were so enjoyable and added to all the fun. Not only the rides but also the small shows like Aladdin and Bugs Life created such a great atmosphere. After a while a friend from school came to Disneyland with her boyfriend (Kelsey and Zach) and we met up with them. Enjoying the fireworks and the fake snow that comes down with it was great in the company of friends. One day everyone should have this experience!

Old Towns...

Today we decided to take Lene to the great city of Temecula, but not only that but the Old Town Temecula. It's a small little town that has some old buildings. The town hall resides in the middle of it and everything is so cute. They have loads of European stores that sell all sorts of different thigs.

Lene found this adorable little store where this woman sells loads of Scandinavian goodies. The owner of the store is a little old lady that speaks Norwegian and Lene got to speak to her. Lene found these interesting cookies that she loves to munch on back home.

You Got to Love Vacation....

Well its the last week of vacation until we start the second semester back for our senior year. Today would be considered a very lazy day and soon you will realize well. Starting in the morning I got ready to go to Starbucks were I ordered a black tea/ lemonade. I hung out with an old friend and just sipped my drink slowly.

I wore my new Toms and my awesome shirt that I bought yesterday at Nordstroms! I totally love my Toms they are so comfy and just wonderful shoes. When I got home from Starbucks I watched a really good movie... Slumdog Millionaire! Yes I do like that movie because through experiences he knew all the answers.

After the movie ended I felt like I was being too lazy and decided to try a new game my friend let me borrow. She has Zumba for the wii and I decided I would enjoy trying it out. It seems so fun and way more exciting then stupid weights or anything.
