New Year... New Adventures!

Well today is New Years Eve and the plans for tonight are nothing like watching massive fireworks in London or Sydney. My plans consist of dinner with the family dropping off my neighbors at their party and hanging out. To all the people that get to see amazing fireworks hope its loads of fun! Here we will be enjoying New Years with Dick Clark.

So I get to make $60.00 tonight to drive 10 people to a party at seven pm. Then I have to go pick them up bring them home and then drive a babysitter home. That is not a bad profit if I must say so myself and great way to bring in the New Year. Next year holds my graduation, my 18th birthday and of course my first year of college. Hope it will be that great for everybody!

Baby Shots....

Today I played around with lighting, setting and of course baby moods. Taking photos of awake babies is a lot harder then you would imagine. My baby cousin Andrew was born a few weeks back and boy is he rambunctious! I mean for a while he was doing pretty good then all of a sudden he decided he did not enjoy all the attention.

I got some adorable shots of him but alot of the time  his hands seemed to be in his face. When they weren't in his face they were clentched. He has amazing blue/grey eyes that looked lovely in the photos. Since he is a December baby we took a few shots with him and his stocking. Enjoy!

So today was a very lazy day being so pooped from Christmas excitement yesterday. I did not get out of my house until around five in the afternoon! Today was fun though because the neighbor kids were out playing with their new toys. I just love our street there is always something to do when they are out.

Since we had some time before it would get dark the kids decided to jump their little remote control cars. The cars were super fast and so made the jumps very easy looking. Once that got boring the boys decided to climb the tree in the front yard. They were so amped up from Christmas yesterday they had to much energy! The sky was very pretty as well with its pink shades!

Anyways I got to see some fun little cars jump ramps and fake princess tattoos! Since it gets dark really early we decided to see Venus. It was a bit hard but the neighbors got out their telescopes and set off determined to see it! It was so bright we had it in our sight very easily, but it was moving so quickly we had a hard time keeping it in view!

After we had all took turns looking through the telescope there was a small party going on in one of their garages. They had coffee and hot chocolate and this awesome quesadilla maker that was quick and portable.

Merry Christmas

So today we have twenty-four of our family members joins us for this lovely holiday. Walking up at seven in the morning was not ideal but worse was waiting for Lene to wake up at eight thirty. After she finally gathered herself enough to wake up for me she still was a zombie.

Until she started opening her presents and saw that I took notes of what she wanted for Christmas. I got Lene a pair of earings, mittens, an adorable shirt and a tea mug that says Los Angeles on it. Enough on her lets move onto my mom who got an IPad so then Lene and I chipped in to buy her the piece that allows her to upload her pictures from her camera to the device.

Today was a great day especially for me! I got my Nikon D5100 today with a lens protector and SD card. I am totally in love and need to come up with a name for him. I also recieved a new pair of high top converse, Big Bang Theory season 3, gift card, a super cute bag, a cute vest and a few other great bits and pieces.

My dogs...

Well I haven't posted anything about my dogs lately. They are doing great they are just two healthy happy Rat Terriers. Though my neighbors dog{Chester} just died recently they still have friends on either side of the fence. We will miss that little guy he use to come over and visit my dogs. They haven't noticed yet but soon will notice his absence. Anyways here are two lovely dogs that have amazing eyes. Hope you like them!

Great Day for a Walk!

Yesterday Lene was saying that she wanted to walk down to Stater Brothers to buy some orange juice. So today we woke up "early" and headed down to the market place. It was a nice 7 Celsius which also came with wind! Well we made our way down to Staters and stood infront of the orange juice  aisle for a while. There were too many choices for Lene Pene to make a quick decision. After all the shopping was done we took some photos on the lovely hill.  This morning started off great and ended with a nice cup of yogurt and Lene's homemade Norwegian roll.  Now to get ready for some more Christmas shopping!

Saskia's Secret Santa Party

Today Lene and I went to Saskia's Secret Santa party in Murrieta. It was also a cookie exchange and there were some awesome looking cookies. Saskia is from Switzerland and made these interesting cookies that had raw egg and sugar on the inside. The secret part didnt last long since we handed our person their present. Everything went very well and I had a total blast! Ive included some photos of the cookies!
